The host of taxi cab TV show Talk Stoop, Cat Greenleaf, has put her Brooklyn townhouse and its eponymous entryway on the market. Since 2009, Greenleaf has filmed the TV talk show out front of her Cobble Hill home at 12 Wyckoff Street—Google street view even captured the townhouse mid-film—with celebrities like Sir Ian McKellen, Brooke Shields, and Mike Tyson.
The townhouse nestled between Court and Smith streets might be one of the most celeb-trafficked addresses in the borough, but at that it’s modest. The townhouse, on the market for $2.95 million, is divided into a three-bedroom owner’s duplex and a one-bedroom garden apartment. Its listing touts its “fun sense of style” which includes wide-plank floors, exposed brick, barn doors, and “reclaimed beams from a Catskills barn.”
What the listing means for Talk Stoop is unclear. Will the show go on without its iconic red door backdrop? Is Greenleaf on to the next venture with Huffington Post Rise?Curbed has reached out for comment.
