In what's likely the first attempted flip at 160 Wooster, a former Curbed Building of the Day in Soho, we hear that one of the two penthouses, which sold for $5 million last summer, is back on the market for $8.9 million, according to this Elliman listing. (And that's after the PriceChopper brought it down from $9.3 million earlier this year.) So we've got a pretty hefty 78% price increase in less than a year for a "stunning redesign." This also happened to be one of the last units to sell the first time around. Could it be the strange terrace-to-indoor-space ratio?
Meanwhile, downstairs in the easterly retail slot, when're we going to start smelling some of that freshly brewed Israeli Aroma? Any grinds to share?
