For the first time in the three years we've been doling out year-end awards, a Manhattan neighborhood has taken home the coveted Curbed Cup for Neighborhood of the Year. In the end, it wasn't even close: West Harlem sped away from Red Hook by more than 100 votes, winning with 29.6% of the vote. (Acceptance speeches from neighborhood residents in the comments, please.)
Thus ends our 2006 awards season. Thanks to all who voted, and see y'all next year.
