Following close on the heels of architect Robert Scarano's important contribution to the debate over the future of Stuyvesant Town under new corporate ownership, here are two more concepts for the ville. On the left and in the center, a concept to divide the complex between the halves and the sort-of-halves. Eh. But on the far right, let's get street easy! "Peter Cavaluzzi, a partner with Ehrenkrantz Eckstut & Kuhn, had the idea of running a Stuyvesant Street through the center of the complex. This new street could be no different than, say, Christopher Street. There would be room for retail, for traffic, the whole shebang." Debate amongst yourselves.
