MIDTOWN?We have more to report about scaffolding, but the one at the Farley Post Office is being taken down deliberately rather than collapsing. The reader who sends the photo of the de-scaffolding today also reported activity last October. He writes that "Nothing more came down for almost an entire year. They started pulling the curtain early this week...It'll be nice to finally see the facade again. Even if it takes years for anything else to happen at the site." [CurbedWire Inbox]
HUDSON HEIGHTS?Today's 76 Madison elevator-in-a-closet Floorplan Porn drew an email about a Hudson Heights $1.15M 3BR with a "closet shower." Specifically, "the second bathroom is made up of a shower literally built into a closet space (you actually opened the closet door and there was the inside of the shower; your bath mat would have to go on the floor of your bedroom, which is where the steam of your shower presumably would flow out as well); another closet houses the second toilet and a teeny tiny sink..." CARROLL GARDENS?For all you 100 Luquer fans, an update: Very sad to report that 100 Luquer is rising at a rapid pace. It's big, it's ugly, and it's quickly moving to block out the sun." [CurbedWire Inbox]
PARK SLOPE-ISH?Finally, more detail on that building on Fourth Avenue and Eighth Street in Park Slope that was a Rumbling earlier this week, per this email in our inbox: "I have seen plans that show a 12 story building with underground parking and a large landscaped garden...Supposed to be very high end with a lot of glass on the exterior and top finishes. Don't know if there is any retail but I doubt it because the building seems to ignore 4th Ave." [CurbedWire Inbox]
