1) Hudson Square: A call for new intel about an old friend, Trinity's teardown party on a juicy piece of Canal Street: I work across the street from this site, which Trinity is clearing as we speak. A rumor isn't much of a tip, but the rumor I heard was that Trinity struck some sort of deal with the city to take over the unused street (an awkward stub of Sullivan St. at its Canal St. terminus) in front of 417-423 Canal and build a gargantuan office tower there, in exchange for handing over the triangle where Laight St. ends at Canal St's. south side, to the city to turn into a park (which is partly completed already). There's got to be some public record of what's in store for this site, but I've seen nothing in the press or on line about it." Can somebody finally put this mystery to rest?
2) Williamsburg: "I want to know whats up with the huge empty lot at Roebling and North 10th. It's almost a full square block and it's been a vacant overgrown lot since demolition happened over a year ago."
