A Look at the Waterfront Wilds of Sunset Park

2007_11_BushTerminalPark.jpg

The Sunset Park waterfront around the Bush Terminal is eventually getting a $36 million redo as a big waterfront park, although it's really best not to know about all the toxics and sludge dumped at the site over the years. In any case, Brooklyn photographer and photoblogger Nathan Kensinger took his camera over to this fenced off and under-photographed stretch of the Brooklyn waterfront that includes "a decades-old apple orchard, two unnatural ponds and a series of man-made bays."
