Life in Downtown Brooklyn will never be the same. What the Daily News is calling the "Hip Hop IHOP" started serving up silver dollar pancakes, Belgian waffles and the like at Livingston and Bond yesterday. It's apparently owned by a record exec who's worked with Foxy Brown and Mary J. Blige and is known as Don Pooh. The IHOP that will change downtown forever, clocks in at 4,900 square feet. Back in September some people were dissing the IHOP saying it would attract rats and not do well. Yesterday, it was packed and customers were talking of an IHOP vs. Junior's death match. Surely, they weren't considering the cheesecake factor.
