As you may have heard, the major brokerages' first-quarter market reports were released this week, and the average price of a Manhattan average reached a new high: $1.7 million. Wow, that's lot of skrilla, but surely not even that price will get you much in Manhattan's toniest enclaves, right? To figure that out, we searched for open houses at prices around the average in Manhattan's most expensive neighborhood, Tribeca. We found about 10 apartments at or below the $1.7 million mark. Here are the five most average apartments in the Triangle Below Canal.
