What we love most about the Plaza Hotel's third-floor State Suite, back on the market for $39 million, is not its boom-and-bust history (bought by an Italian businessman who failed to close on the $45 million deal after whispers he was looking to resell for $100 million) nor is it the massive L-shaped floorplan with a bananas 55' x 13' gallery. It's those marble columns. Those sweet, sweet marrrrble columns.
