The Saint Elias Church on Kent Street in Greenpoint came on the market last year with no asking price. No buyers wanted to go through the conversion process, apparently, because the church appeared on the lease market earlier this year. Now, its sales listing has been resurrected, and the church is finally willing to name its price. Two prices, in fact! For the church sanctuary alone, $3.4 million. With the Sunday school included, for a total of 8,000 square feet, the ask is $3.7 million. Residential conversion has already been Landmarks-approved, including the addition of outdoor terraces to the High Victorian Early Romanesque Revival William B. Ditmars-designed (whew!) exterior.
