After many PriceChops and much broker juggling, our beloved Nolita townhouse 11 Spring Street is in contract. The last price tag for the former Candle Building was $26 million. Once upon a time, it was asking $39.8 million, and it made brief stops in $36.5 million and $29.5 million territory before hitting the most recent asking price. Broker Leonard Steinberg confirmed that the building -- a former single-family residence now carved into three condos -- is in contract, but he refused to comment further. Maybe Lachlan Murdorch is back to claim the one that got away. Meanwhile, we're on the hunt for the next Chupi again.
