Former New York Mets first baseman Maurice "Mo" Vaughn was the winning bidder in an auction for 14 abandoned and less-than-mint-condition buildings in the South Bronx. The amount Mo forked over to win hasn't been disclosed, but he was one of about a dozen bidders for the buildings, which last sold for $36 million in 2007 and now carry a $23.8 million load o' debt.
