Plans to renovate Battery Park landmark Pier A by 2011 sputtered out when the National Park Service dropped its plans to relocate ferries there, but now the Tribeca Trib reports the project could be restarting. Architects will be asking for Landmarks Preservation Commission approval later this month to finish exterior restoration work on the building, and if the LPC gives it the go-ahead, work could restart in May and finish in 2011 after all.
