Residents of East 7th Street don't need the blooming of the cherry blossoms or the return of softball to the asphalt courts of Tompkins Square Park to tell them that spring is here. They need only to look for signs of green on the outside of the Flowerbox Building, the Curbed hall of famer that brought the $5.75 million condo to the Avenue D environs. She's help up pretty well over the past couple of years, no? Either the tenants truly are dedicated, or that automatic irrigation system is working wonders.
