The latest twist in the never-ending saga of One Madison Park, after buyer backouts, foreclosure, and possibly forgery, is this: architect/developer Cary Tamarkin (who now officailly gets the "Anderson Cooper's architect" tag) and developer Eric Anderson may be signing on as consultants to the deeply troubled project. The Observer reports that One Mad's receiver has asked for judicial approval to bring Tamarkin Anderson on board. The team would oversee the project in three phases. The first involves the construction and certificate of occupancy for the existing tower, the second phase takes care of the two amenities floors, and the third phase would finally deal with the empty lot that was originally slated to be Rem Koolhaas's tower. Sounds logical and all, but how long is it gonna take to get a freakin' wine tasting room around here?
