At North Tribeca Karl Fischer special the Fairchild, 16 out of 21 units are in contract, but there's one unit nobody seems to want: the five-unit combo #7TH8THPH. The 10,000-square-foot triplex was on the market first for $23 million and then for $20,785,000. Now the five-unit mashup is completely off the market. But aspiring Fairchild owners can still pick up some of the pieces. The penthouse, 2,556 of the 10,000 square feet, is asking $6.95 million, and units 7A and 7B are asking $3.695 million each. There are also a few seventh floor units in contract, which means our dream of the combo condo coming back, zombie-style, probably isn't gonna happen.
