The folks at Gilman Architects brought the light show to Long Island City with the glassfest that is Murano. Which makes their new East Harlem project, the 60,000-square-foot Glass Spire planned for 1635 Lexington Avenue, look like one of their milder offerings. Blog Harlem Bespoke notes that construction began on the lot at 103rd Street about a month ago, and eventually a 42-unit building will go up. No signs of a light show in the rendering, but we won't give up hope until we know for sure. Anyone have any other intel?
