CNN business correspondent Ali Velshi's karmic struggles with the real estate market, which began when he followed his own advice to buy, picked up an apartment at the Harrison, and was promptly relocated to Atlanta, continue now with a condo he's owned since 2003 at 186 West 80th Street. Velshi bought that condo for $455,000 and was unable to resell it late last year for $799,000. After it lingered on the market for a while, the Journal explains, a designer pointed out to him that it was, uh, a completely unappealing mancave of a space. Restaging time! Above, before and after pics of Velshi's 1BR condo, now back on the market for $936,000, furniture included.
