Time to wake up the security guard: former missing building and "friendly" foreclosure victim One Rector Park has been found! At a price, of course?a tipster notes that there have been "huge price drops for the less desirable units." There are fresh listings online for 24 of the building's 174 units, of which the building had sold 10 percent when it decided to take a little nap almost a year ago. So just how huge are these PriceChops? The apartments are now asking $300,000 to $2.31 million, and we compared these prices to the ones from the building's earlier sales effort. Studio #407, once listed for $560,000, is now asking $455,000. One-bedroom #501, once $630,000, is now only $365,000. Two-bedroom #410, formerly $1.025 million, is now $775,000. Three-bedroom #406, first $2.4 million and then $2.195 million in One Rector Park's previous sales attempts, is now $1.99 million. Will these prices break the curse cast by unfortunate neighbor the Battery Park City Hell Building?
