GREENWICH VILLAGE?As far as undulating walls of glass go, one of our favorites belongs to One Jackson Square, the ultra-fancy Greenwich Village condo building with an equally wobbly lobby. Turns out we're not the only fans. The building (and by that we mean architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox and developers Hines Interests and RFR Holding) is being awarded an AIA National Chapter Honor Award for Architecture for its "modern digital fabrication techniques, its well? designed and executed window wall, and its textural and spatial qualities." Do buyers get championship rings? [CurbedWire Inbox]
LONG ISLAND CITY?Been a while since we've heard about a developer offering incentives to condo buyers (at least publicly), but here's a freshie from LIC's The Industry, the 76-unit building built by the Silvercup Studios peeps. The developer is offering to pick up closing costs?$10,000 to $20,000, depending on the size of the unit?on contracts signed by March 1. Get thee to LIC! We're giving that slogan to you for free, LIC tourist board. [CurbedWire Inbox]
