Smarter-than-the-average-rental-listings-website Naked Apartments just crunched the numbers on 500,000 apartment searches by its users to come up with some trends. The result is this rental stats infographic that lists the most desired neighborhoods and amenities. Think the East Village and Upper East Side are the typical sought-after renter 'hoods in Manhattan? Try the Upper West Side, which is tops, at least according to Naked Apartments users. No surprise here: Brooklyn renters look to Williamsburg first, and Park Slope second (bars, then brownstones?). As for the map, the darker the shading, the more popular the neighborhood in user searches. Any surprises?
