The Robert Scarano-designed building at 392 St. Marks Avenue has been sitting on its Crown Heights block partly finished since long before the architect's downfall?for more than seven years, in fact (with the false hope of progress this summer). Now Brownstoner notes that the building is going up for auction tomorrow with a teeny-tiny lien of $54,827. It's described as a "5 story building on a 42x128 lot?currently 27,125 square feet classed as 'elevator apartments miscellaneous'. 24 units total." The current appearance is certainly no incentive to bid.
