After choosing a rather disappointing 2BR sublet in White Plains, Knicks phenom Jeremy Lin has redeemed himself in our eyes by also picking up a 2BR rental at the W New York Downtown Hotel and Residences. Judging by asking rents on other apartments in the building, Lin is probably paying somewhere between $3,600 and $8,900/month for the place, which was also on the sale market for $2.315 million, according to the Post. The 1,182-square-foot "mid-level unit" is already furnished with $30,000 to $35,000 worth of furniture. So that strategy worked!
