Hurricane Sandy flooded the WTC site with 15 to 30 feet of water, and the unfinished National 9/11 Museum was not spared. The main floor of the museum flooded with at least five feet of water, and the extent of the damage is still not clear. Since the museum is no where near completion, the flooding may cause officials to rethink how it is laid out to prevent the collection from being damaged by possible future floods. [NYT; photo]
