There's no need to change a winning formula, and the team behind the uber-popular 15 Central Park West and 18 Gramercy Park doesn't plan to change a thing for their latest project. The Journal reports that the Arthur and William Lie Zeckendorf are once working with architect Robert A. M. Stern to build a new 51-story condominium at 43 East 60th Street. The site is just a block east of Central Park, and the tall, thin tower will have just 30 units that will be a combination of studios, full-floor units, duplexes, and triplexes.
The DOB is currently reviewing permits for the building, which would have a fitness center with a pool, a children's play room, a conference room, and bike storage. The building has apparently been in the works since 2006, but was delayed because the old tenants on the property didn't want to leave.
