A New York real estate connection has popped up in mystery novelist Patricia Cornwell's lawsuit against her financial (mis?)managers, who allegedly billed her far more than the agreed-upon rate. Cornwell claims that one of those managers gave her questionable real estate advice "that seemed to benefit his own associates, including the son of the actor Robert DeNiro." Et tu, Raphael? Cornwell says the stress of her real estate losses led her to miss a 2006 book deadline. [Boston Globe; previously]
