The Times Square Alliance once again plans to spread the architectural love this Valentine's Day. Bustler announced that Brooklyn-based design firm Situ Studio is creating this year's public art installation, to be unveiled February 12. There's no real description of the artwork, so we only know what the renderings show, which looks like a glowing open heart created from illuminated slats. UPDATE: Inhabitat reports that the project is called "Heartwalk," and it will be made from salvaged pieces of New Jersey boardwalks that were damaged during Hurricane Sandy. You can enter the illuminated bright pink heart-shaped middle, and snap a pic with your love. Cue the "Awws" and billions of tourist Instagram photos.
