Three more pieces of the 14-mile long Brooklyn Greenway are set for construction. New sections will be built in Red Hook, Greenpoint, and near the Brooklyn Navy Yard in Vinegar Hill, which means the only un-planned section is that in Sunset Park. Vinegar Hill residents were pissed that the DOT planned to remove their historic cobblestones to create a smoother path, but they'll be returning the stones after they upgrade underground infrastructure. Phew! [WSJ; previously]
