As we all await Chelsea Market's expansion near the High Line, its owners are considering launching a similar venue in Long Island City. The office building at 31-00 47th Avenue, which developer Jamestown Properties purchased for $80 million last year, could be the future home of some retail shops with a market feel and a food focus.
