The EPA is working out the details of its $500 million Superfund plan to clean the Gowanus Canal and residents are taking issue with two major parts of the plan: a sewage storage tank that would replace a beloved public pool and the possibility of treating the dredged toxic sludge at a new plant in Red Hook.
