While many people are starting to realize that, oh hey, Citi Bike is not a pain in the ass, angry Soho denizens are not giving up the anti-bike fight. The Soho Alliance has sued the DOT, demanding that they remove the docking station installed in an area of Petrosino Square that was previously used for public art installations. "It's the intransigence of an arrogant DOT commissioner who has put her and Mayor Bloomberg's legacy over the interests of parks and art and the common good," said an Alliance member. The DOT, however, is unfazed, and is "confident that this location would withstand a court challenge." [NYP; previously]
