After a tumultuous couple of years?which included a stop-work order, a foreclosure, a developer swap, and a switch from condos to rentals?units at the 72-unit Williamsburg development 53 Broadway are finally getting listed. Brownstoner noticed that nine apartments are currently on the market, ranging from a studio for $2,215/month to a 2BR with a balcony for $4,246. Marketed by aptsandlofts.com, the developer is Adam America Real Estate and the architect is Kutnicki Bernstein. No images are available yet, alas, but BisNow reports that "[t]he property has 10K SF of commercial space and a large lounge, a feature Adam America founder Omri Sachs says caters to the expected 30% of tenants who will work from home.."
Amenities include a fitness center, gaming room, lobby lounge, and sun deck. There's also a yoga room, according to 'Stoner, and the apartments themselves have stone countertops, eat-in kitchens, and washer/dryers. More about the developer? "AARE, only a few years on the NY scene, is a 'big believer' in Brooklyn and says to be on the lookout for nearby high-end projects coming to market in fall 2014." And, lest you forgot, this was what the building is supposed to look like on the outside:
