This week's top dish from Eater NY, Curbed's restaurant, bar, and nightlife blog...
1) Seaport: Simply Seafood, the last remaining tenant in Pier 17, will be evicted. A judge ruled in favor of developer Howard Hughes, saying that forfeiture of the restaurant's longterm lease was allowed because the restaurant failed to pay all of its bills.
2) Columbia Street Waterfront District: Andy Richter's wildly popular Pok Pok Ny restaurant will relocate to a larger space just up the street. As per tradition, a monk blessed the new space, and it will open early next week.
3) Long Island City: M. Wells Steakhouse opened to the public this week, with an open kitchen, bone-in burger, and huge, juicy steaks.
4) Soho: Cronut mania continues, but for a good cause. To raise money for the charity God's Love We Deliver, cronut creator Dominique Ansel will be "auctioning off pairs of Cronuts in boxes specially designed by various celebrities."
