The War of Spike Lee vs. Various Newspaper and Magazine Columnists continues. In a Times column this weekend, A.O. Scott remarked that Lee's recent gentrification rant that set the internet ablaze was, "a mixture of hyperbole, provocation and plain truth." That set Lee off again, of course, and he responded with an open letter: "Mr. Scott, what you fail to understand is that I can live on The Moon and what I said is still TRUE. No matter where I choose to live that has nothing to do with it." [Daily Intel; previously]
