By October, Greenpoint will be home to New York's newest convention center. The location, accessible only by the G train, seems like possibly the worst spot for a 28,000-square-foot exhibition space that can fit 1,500 people, but manager Chris Rechner told DNAinfo, "We feel like companies do want to do stuff here." The venue, located at 79 Franklin Street, is called Brooklyn Expo Center, and "stuff" can include weddings, expos, and concerts. [Bedford + Bowery via DNAinfo]
