Erected in the mid-1800's and around for 127 years, this was not a pleasant place to live, nor one people sought out. Following the building's closure, the site became home to a new structure of a different purpose where people also don't seek to live. The organization that overtook the site is still there today. Where was this building, and what purpose did it serve?
