First came the floorplans, now come the renderings. Behold, the first look inside the future condos of 30 Park Place, currently rising in Downtown Manhattan (h/t BuzzBuzz Home). The 82-story, Robert A.M. Stern-designed tower will hold 157 condos on its top floors, and new renderings show what those condos will look like: very white, with very big windows. The website's marketing babble says they have "gracious flow," "soaring ceilings, multiple exposures, and warm details." Kitchens will have solid white oak cabinetry by Bilotta, Colorado White marble countertop and backsplash, and Gaggenau appliances, and the master bathrooms will feature Chinchilla Mink and Bianco Dolomite marble and vanities designed by Stern. The duplex penthouse, which will be listed for something north of $60 million, will have a double-height living room, pictured above, a private terrace, and a fireplace.
Developer Silverstein Properties has been working on 30 Park Place since 2006, but the project stalled when the economy went kaput (Silverstein also had bigger things to think about). It came back to life last year, and it's expected to be complete in 2016.
