The newest batch of condos in the Columbia Street Waterfront Districtwhich also happen to be Brooklyn's newest batch of passive houseslook like they are nearly ready to welcome their Earth-loving owners. Brownstoner snapped a photo of the six-story building at 255 Columbia Street, and aside from one missing window and some construction-y things on the ground floor, it looks complete. Developer HPI Development previously stated that the homes would be ready for occupancy by winter 2014.
StreetEasy shows that 12 of the 13 condos, designed by Loadingdock5, are in-contract. The last remaining unit is a 890-square-foot two-bedroom on the first floor. It's listed for $995,000, which is actually $20,000 more than what it was originally listed for. All of the units have private outdoor space and a storage unit, plus the building has a common courtyard and bike storage.
