Yesterday the board of the Brooklyn Bridge Park Corporation voted down the need for a full review of the plan for two residential buildings at Pier 6, but people are sill pushing for it because of the closure of Long Island College Hospital just a few block away. BBP is working with a 10-year-old environmental review, and state Sen. Daniel Squadron pointed out that a residential redevelopment of LICH "was certainly not contemplated a decade ago."
