The Metropolitan Museum of Art is set to debut its renovated plaza on September 9, and it seems like things are just about ready to roll. Curbed reader Jeremy Orloff walked by the plaza last night and got a sneak preview of the new fountains, which were being tested. They aren't quite the Bellagio, but his video shows that they'll have a fun, swooping water dance routine. In addition to the waterworks, the plaza will also feature a small amount of public seating (30 tables, 120 chairs) and new landscaping.
