Mayor de Blasio just announced plans expand high-speed Wi-Fi service to more New York City neighborhoods, but questions have already been raised about why the plan would give fast Wi-Fi to Manhattan and the wealthy parts of Brooklyn and Queens and slow Wi-Fi to the Bronx and central Brooklyn. A city rep responded that "the digital divide that now exists will shrink." [NYDN]
