Plans to convert the historic T Building on the Queens Hospital Center grounds into 206 units of affordable housing have been revived after the original 2012 proposal was shut down due to disagreements with the community. The new plan includes 75 units for hospital patients who have been discharged and have no where else to go, which may prove to be controversial. "I'm worried that these homeless people will be there so close to our schools and children," said community board member Maria Deinnocentiis. [Courier, via 'Stoner Queens]
