Having bought out Skanska, Forest City Ratner restarted work at B2, the 32-story modular residential tower of Atlantic Yards, which had been stalled since August. Forest City plans to rehire all 150 workers who lost their jobs when the modular factory shutdown (but they can't seem to get ahold of everyone, so they set up a hotline), and the building is now on track for a 2016 completion. As Atlantic Yards Report points out, that means the towerwhich was supposed to take just 18 months to completewill have been under construction for four years. [NY1 and AYR; previously]
