79 Horatio Street, a 7,000-square-foot West Village building constructed in the 1870s, was purchased in November 2012 by developer Greystone for $10.45 million, meticulously renovated, and relisted for an ambitious $22.5 million. Now, word comes from the PR team that the house has sold for $21 million meaning that, not counting closing costs and the cost of the renovation, Greystone doubled its money in just over two years. Not too shabby.
