One of a great many new Brooklyn developments that Boaz Gilad's Brookland Capital is bringing to market, 156 Broadway just launched sales, listing three of its eight units. The building is laid out, somewhat interestingly, with retail on the ground-floor level, four duplexes on the second level, and four triplexes on the uppermost level, indicating that the original high-ceiling structure was kept intact. All of the units come with two full baths, although the duplexes (the only ones currently listed) each have only one bedroom, and the bedroom is really more of lofted area above the living room. The development was converted from a 100-year-old former cabinet factor, which Brookland purchased in 2012 for a mere $2.65 million.
