World Wide Group and Rose Associates' luxury tower at 252 East 57th Street is on the rise after over seven years of starts, stops, and redesigns. A YIMBY tipster recently visited the site to discover that the long-awaited project has finally grown out of its hole in the ground and is going vertical. The Skidmore Owings +Merrill-designed undulating glass tower will stand 65 stories at its zenithtall, but not skyline-domineering like its more western neighborsand hold 93 condos and 175 rentals. Sales launched in the building in September; StreetEasy shows that 12 condos are currently on the market, priced between $4.195 million and $13.15 million.
