Global investment firm KKR & Co. has signed on for 343,000 square feet of office space at 30 Hudson Yards, and to celebrate, developers Related Companies and Oxford Properties Group have unleashed a handful of new renderings of the nearly 1,300-foot-tall tower. The firm will occupy the 90-story tower's top ten floorsbelow the observation deck, presumablyand won't have to rub shoulders in the elevator with employees of the building's other tenant, Time Warner Inc.; the office space comes with its own elevator bank and a "sky lobby," as per a press release from the developers. The glass towerthe tallest coming to Hudson Yardsis designed by Bill Pedersen of Kohn Pedersen Fox and has obtained LEED Gold status.
