As real estate prices throughout New York City climb ever-higher, seeing homes in Brooklyn listed in the millions of dollars has become close to normal. The borough's most expensive home sold for $15.5 million in the summer of 2015, and there are plenty of properties on the market now that are hovering around that number—and some that could even shatter that record if the right buyer comes along. (We're looking at you, Low Mansion.)
So with that in mind, here are Brooklyn's 20 priciest properties for sale right now—some have languished on the market for years (and appeared when we made this list earlier this year and in 2014), while others are newer entrants. And though they're not as ridiculously expensive as their Manhattan counterparts, suffice to say, they're all over-the-top.
This list makes an exception for the multi-apartment Low Mansion, which is clearly being marketed as an extravagant single-family conversion, but other properties on this list are divided into no more than two apartments.
