God knows we love a good feud, so we're pleased to report that BrokersNYC (the people behind MLX.com and new Craigslist challenger Matchifieds) is hauling the Real Estate Board of New York into court. The dispute centers on the fact that, unlike the rest of the free world, NYC doesn't have a robust multiple listings service that allows brokers at various firms to view each other's offerings. REBNY is gearing up to intro a new system early next year, but BrokersNYC says the trade group won't let them in to use it. Naturally, REBNY says the charges are absurd. Stay tuned for a dispute that promises to offer some truly excellent name-calling, at the least.
